Virginia Virtuosi played "Concerto for Basketball" during their "Who's on First Bass?" program at the Green Spring Gardens Fall Festival.
Green Spring Gardens held its annual Fall Garden Days Festival on a beautiful Saturday.

The annual Fall Festival at Green Spring Gardens offered something for everyone on a gorgeous autumn day. Vendors sold plants, garden accessories, artwork and crafts. There was live music by The New Old-Time String Band and King Street Bluegrass throughout the day in the gardens and a children's program by Virginia Virtuosi in the horticulture center. Kent Knowles from the Raptor Conservancy of Virginia gave a presentation that included a number of native owls and hawks, and Suzanne Holland from Hidden Oaks Nature Center gave a presentation on Monarch butterflies, which included the tagging and release of two Monarchs.

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, NOVA's Annandale campus brought in chef Mario Barreda to create some paella on the plaza.
