Ron Paul Wins One Precinct in Greater Annandale
Romney carried all other precincts in the area in Tuesday's Republican presidential primary.
Ron Paul won one precinct in the greater Annandale area Tuesday, election results reveal, and the Texas congressman was one vote away from tying with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in another precinct. The two were the only candidates on the Republican presidential primary ballot in Virginia.
According to the final (but still unofficial) results, Paul won in the 705th precinct at , 3036 Graham Road. Paul received 21 votes there; Romney received 16. Turnout at that precinct was 3.2 percent.
Paul lost—but just barely—at precinct 709 at Mosby Woods Elementary School, 9819 Five Oaks Road. Romney received 70 votes to Paul's 69 votes. Turnout at that precinct was 4.6 percent.

The highest voter turnout was at precinct 522 at , 8100 Guinevere Dr. The lowest turnout was at precinct 705 at Graham Road Elementary School, 3036 Graham Road.
