Dominion Virginia Power has released the list of crew work locations for Northern Virginia.
The following are locations in Annandale and the greater Annandale area which includes Lincolnia and Springfield:
- Donnybrook Court
- Lake Blvd and Little River Turnpike
- Old Columbia Pike and Lincolnia Road
- Ravensworth Road
- Sleepy Hollow Road at Bent Branch Road
- Thor Drive
- Trammell and Marshall Drive
- Trammell Road and Beta Place
- Ravensworth Road and Rocart Drive
- Wayne Drive
- Summit Place and Yellowstone Drive
- Hershey Lane
- Little River Turnpike and Willow Run Drive
- Murray Lane and Terrace Drive
- Morningside Drive and Prosperity Ave near west Annandale
- Annandale Road and Masonville Drive
- Braddock Road near Guinea Road
- Columbia Road and Braddock Road

Dominion just fixed the downed line at Tobin Rd. and Beverly Dr., restoring power to the Prosperity Heights neighborhood.

I understand that there is a lot of work, but here is my problem with the management of the work ---- I drove by Old Columbia Rd and Little River Turnpike at 10:30 a.m. and I saw 19 power company trucks with a bunch of workers and supervisors standing around shooting the breeze. One hour later I drove past again and they were in the same spot still shooting the breeze. Obviously they are either slow-walking the work or no one is telling them what to do. Does it ahve anything to do with union workers? I wonder.... So that is why it is taking so long to get evrything fixed, because they are stretching out the hours.

I just got a call from Dominion Power automation. I think Columbia Rd has power again. Happy days are here again!

Here is a question to all... I was traveling from Thursday until last night. I'm not sure if or when or how long my power was off. I'm not sure how safe the food in my fridge is. Can anyone tell me if Ravensworth Rd was affected and for how long (just north of Heritage Dr.) ? Thanks!
