  3. It's Bingo Night at the Annandale Volunteer Fire Department. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., early bird begins at 6:45 p.m. and the regular sessions starts at 8 p.m.
  4. On this day in the year 1944 Anne Frank and her family were captured by the Nazi Gestapo when a Dutch informer gave up their hiding place where they had lived for two years.
  5. Also on this day in 1792, English Romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley is born on this day in Sussex, into a wealthy, aristocratic family.
