Mason District Community Open House Set for Saturday

Visitors will be allowed to tour the station, observe police demonstrations and more.

 

The Mason District station of the Fairfax County Police Department and Mason District Supervisor Penny Gross’s office are inviting Mason District residents to join them on Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Mason District Governmental Center for a free open house event.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., residents can hang out with McGruff the Crime Dog, police officers from the Mason District station and members of the community.

There will be police demonstrations and a moonbounce. Visitors can also tour Gross’s office and the police station.

In addition to the above activities, the Rotary Club of Bailey's Crossroads will hold its 27th annual drawing to raffle off a classic 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible.
