Mason District Land Use Committee Chair Retires
Roy Lounsbury has served on the committee for 25 years; committee member Dan Aminoff will serve as chair for the committee.
Roy Lounsbury retired as chair of the Mason District Land Use Committee on Tuesday after 25 years of service.

Mason District Land Use Committee (MDLUC) chair and Mason District resident Roy Lounsbury has retired from the committee after serving on it for 25 years.
Janet Hall, representative for Mason District on the Fairfax County Planning Commission, made the announcement at Tuesday’s monthly committee meeting at the Mason District Governmental Center. The meeting was Lounsbury's last meeting as committee chair.
Lounsbury was also recognized Feb. 26 by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors [View a photo of Roy with Board on Flickr] at the Board's Feb. 26 meeting.
Dan Aminoff, a member of the MDLUC, has been elected to serve as chair for the committee.
