Police: DWI, Assault Reported Near Braddock Road

The following items are from recent police updates through Nov. 7 from the Mason, Franconia and West Springfield police districts of the Fairfax County Police Department.
DWI/Assault (red on above map), Braddock Road/Wakefield Chapel Road, 11/1/12, 1 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested the driver for driving while intoxicated. The arrested, Lori Lampman, 23, of Gainsville, allegedly kicked an assisting officer while they attempted to get her into a vehicle. Lampman was additionally charged with assault on a police officer and refusal.
In separate and unrelated incidents:
Burglary (yellow on above map), 3700 block of Pleasant Ridge Road, 11/1/12, 9 a.m. A resident reported that someone entered their home and stole a laptop computer. There were no signs of forced entry.

- 5700 block of Backlick Road - parking sticker from vehicle
- 7100 block of Catlett Street - tree from residence
- 4500 block of John Marr Drive - jacket and car keys from business
- 7500 block of Little River Turnpike - bag from vehicle
- 7600 block of Little River Turnpike - wallet from business
- 5100 block of Overlook Park - tools from vehicle
- 4800 block of Beauregard Street - cell phone from business
- 6900 block of Columbia Pike - purse from vehicle
- 4200 block of John Marr Drive - merchandise from business
- 4200 block of John Marr Drive - two televisions from business
Vehicle Thefts (green on above map):
- 7400 block of Elgar Street - 1998 Mazda
