Police: Two Burglaries Reported in Annandale Area

The following items are from recent police updates through Nov. 28 from the Mason, West Springfield and Franconia police districts of the Fairfax County Police Department.
Burglary (blue on map), 11:30 p.m., 11/22/12, 7000 block of Catlett Street, A resident reported someone entered the home and stole jewelry. There were no signs of forced entry.
Burglary (blue on map), 10:30 a.m., 11/21/12, 4400 block of Willow Woods Drive, A resident reported a suspicious person near her home. Officers located a 17-year-old boy. An investigation led to his arrest on four counts of burglary.

- 7400 block of Gresham Street - money from vehicle
- 7000 block of Woodland Drive - change from vehicle
- 9300 block of Braddock Road - purse from vehicle
- 7900 block of Heritage Drive - cell phone from park
- Jayhawk Street/Ravensworth Road - tools from vehicle
- 7400 block of Little River Turnpike - purse from business
- 7400 block of Little River Turnpike - beer from business
- 7400 block of Lucerne Lane - wallet from business
Vehicle Thefts (yellow on map):
- 7500 block of Jervis Street - 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee
