Police: Two Burglaries Reported in Annandale Area

The following information was supplied by the Fairfax County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

On the above map, the addresses are block numbers, not specific home or business addresses.

The following items are from recent police updates through Dec. 26 from the Franconia, Mason and West Springfield police districts of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Burglary (red on map), 11:30 p.m., Dec. 21, 8700 block of Rectory Lane, A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items. There were no signs of forced entry.

Burglary (red on map), 8 p.m., Dec. 22, 7700 block of Lafayette Forest Drive, A neighbor reported seeing an unknown subject entering a home. Officers established a perimeter around the home. Three juvenile boys, ages 15,15, and 16, were detained exiting the home. Charges are pending.

  • 7400 block of Blackford Street, power tools from vehicle
  • 7000 block of Cindy Lane, cell phone from school
  • 7300 block of Jervis Street, tools from vehicle
  • 7900 block of Ellet Road, items from vehicle
  • 4300 block of Markham Street, bag, laptop computer and documents from vehicle
  • 6500 block of Little River Turnpike, money from business
  • 3200 block of Woodburn Road, computer from business

Vehicle Thefts (green on map):

  • 5600 block of Bismach Drive, 2010 Acura
  • 6500 block of Little River Turnpike, 2004 Ford F450
