Grab your umbrellas if you're headed out this evening: Annandale and all of Fairfax County is under a severe thunderstorm watch until late Friday evening.
National Weather Service says severe storms could cause damaging winds and heavy rainfall. Storms could make for a hazardous rush-hour commute this afternoon.
The watch is in effect until 9 p.m. Friday.
