Oh wow! Chief, how about Burke Station Rd. between the City of Fairfax and Braddock Rd. Guess the curve on Burke Station Rd isn't technically an intersection, but I bet there are many more unreported and reported accidents there than some of the heaviest used intersections.

Hi Frederick, thanks for your question. Looking at the map on their website and comparing it to Google, it looks like West Springfield's jurisdiction ends at Ox Road which means the area you mention is covered by the station. It could be that the area does not have as many reported accidents as the ten listed above. The intersections listed above were chosen based on the number of reportable (injury or sufficient damage) accidents at each location, according to Capt. Hill. Thanks for reading!

The article references a map. Am I missing the link somewhere in the article?

Hi Dustin, is the Google Map widget not showing up for you? It should be the first media you see when you open the article before the photo of the intersection and then the text as you scroll.

I'm surprised that Burke Rd and Lee Chapel is not on the list. Although I'm not terribly surprised by most of the intersections on the list.

Vanessa? Is that the intersection where there is a Burke School and Church on the opposite corners?
