Menchie’s isn’t the only new frozen yogurt store in the Annandale area. Tutti Frutti opened earlier this fall.

According to General Manager Sang Hyun Lee, construction in the shopping center nearby has hindered some foot traffic to the store, which serves soy-based frozen yogurt with unique flavors like the store’s namesake, tutti frutti, taro, lychee and more common flavors like lemon, kiwi, banana and almond. Available yogurt toppings range from candy such as M&Ms, gummy bears, or brownie bits to healthier choices like granola or fresh fruit.

Tutti Frutti is located at 7881 Heritage Dr. in the Heritage Shopping Center near Hmart.

“It's a healthy way of eating snacks instead of going out an eating ice cream,” said Lee. “It’s easy to customize.”

Lee says the customers who’ve stumbled upon the store have been positive. “A lot of people come and are surprised by how cheap it is,” said Lee, who is from the Annandale area. In addition to frozen yogurt, Tutti Frutti also serves cookies and brownies that are baked fresh daily.

Tutti Frutti is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday. The Annandale Tutti Frutti also occasionally posts promotions and other information on their Facebook page.
