Who's the Best of Annandale?
Patch is launching a new series on Monday!
Who has the best cup of coffee? Who makes the best pizza? Which park is the best in town?
Starting Monday, Annandale Patch will run a new series called "Best of Annandale." Here's how it will work: On Monday morning, we'll name the category (next week, it will be flower shops) and list choices for you to vote on (you'll also be able to "write in" your favorite, in the Comments box, if it's not included). You'll be able to vote until Friday at 9 a.m. We'll reveal the winner Friday afternoon.
But, we need your help! We're looking for local businesses to feature in these upcoming categories:
- Flower Shops
- Best Take-Out Food
- Best Coffee
- Best Bank
If you have a suggestion for a business to nominate in these categories, tell us in the "Comments" box below.
What will the winner get? Bragging rights! You'll be able to tell all your friends, neighbors and customers that you were voted a "Best of" in Annandale.
So tune in on Monday morning! With Valentine's Day coming up, lots of people will be shopping for flowers before the big day. We want to know, who has the Best Flowers in Annandale? Look for our poll starting Monday!

Wasn't logged in when I commented and not sure if it took, so forgive me if this is a duplicate.
Best Take-Out:
Food Corner Kabob, Little River Turnkpike: Great kabobs, wonderful assortment of sides, fantastic freshly made bread, reasonable deal for all the food you get.
IndAroma, Little River Turnpike: Ok, so this is technically in Alexandria, but it's still the "Annandale area" and it's too good not to include. You can order and go next door and pick up some Indian groceries while you wait. Food is fantastic and rivals higher-end restaurants.

Hey Tim, I don't think your first comment went through, so thanks for posting again. Our Best of Take-Out poll goes live on Monday, Feb. 13 after the voting for the Best Florist ends on Friday, Feb. 10. So look out for that! It'll post in the morning just as the florist poll did.
