For those looking to get ahead quickly the nonprofit sector offers a wide range of professional growth opportunities that can lead to greater career advancement.  During the workshop, participants will learn what they need to know about choosing a nonprofit career that suits them.  Also, participants will learn how to prepare their application package to get the jobs they want. Bring a copy of your resume to the workshop. The workshop will cover the following:

•              The many jobs that can be performed in nonprofit            organizations

•              What is needed to get a job in the nonprofit sector

•              Tips on how to get a nonprofit job

•              Where to look for nonprofit jobs

Instructor:  Saunji Fyffe is currently a Research Associate at the Urban Institute Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy and the Tutor Coordinator at CORE.  Saunji has over 17 years experience as a Director of Human Resources at various nonprofit organizations.
