Silent Games is the captivating story of an Israeli national deaf soccer team that sets out to become one of the top eight contenders in the 2007 World Championship in Bulgaria. Through groundbreaking techniques, award-winning director Yael Klopmann follows the stars of this team through their victories and hardships.
Following hte film, there will be a discussion, led by Cynthia Roberson, who was born deaf and enhanced Deaf and Diability Awareness in the 1970s.
This screening is presented by GMU Hillel and Washington Society of Jewish Deaf.
