Community Corner

Youth Mental Wellness Fair 2012

Fairfax Partnership for Youth, Inc. is hosting this event to celebrate youth mental wellness and our community’s collective effort to connect youth to the resources they need to thrive. This free, drop-in event will be held Saturday February 25, 2012 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the West Springfield High School.

Teens, parents, people who work with youth, and anyone who wants to know more about youth mental wellness are all invited to this unique event designed to showcase mental health resources for youth ages 21 and under in Northern Virginia. Anyone needing guidance on how to get mental health information for themselves or a friend/loved one is welcome to come and learn! Light refreshments will be served.

Browse exhibits, pick up free materials, and meet representatives from a variety of public and private providers, including

  • Fairfax County Public Schools
  • Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board
  • Dominion Hospital
  • INOVA Kellar Center
  • PHILLIPS Programs for Children and Families
  • Northern Virginia Family Services
