Park Planners to Host Community Meeting on Wakefield Skatepark Expansion
Planners will host a community meeting next week for residents to give input
The Fairfax County Park Authority will soon expand Wakefield Skatepark and they're looking for input from members of the Annandale community.
On Wednesday, June 15, the planners will host a community meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. at the located at 8100 Braddock Road in Annandale, adjacent to the skatepark. Residents are invited to attend and give their input on what they'd like to see in the expansion.
To help with the plans, park planners have enlisted the expertise of representatives from Spohn Ranch Skateparks in California. During the meeting, a representative from this skatepark planning group will be in attendance and will help facilitate the open discussion.
