Saturday night was a perfect night to learn about bats at Hidden Oaks Nature Center. The sky was clear, the moon was out and everybody had a great time. There were a scavenger hunt, crafts, educational displays and a walk to look for live bats. The highlight of the evening was a presentation by Leslie Sturgis, Bat World NOVA director. After explaining fun facts about bats, Sturgis brought out  three live bats, which kept everyone's attention glued to the noctunal animals.
