Snow covered much of Annandale in snow Wednesday morning and eventually turned to rain in early afternoon, leaving slush and puddles of water in streets and on sidewalks. The wet precipitation continued to fall into the afternoon as snow plows drove through secondary streets and sat in shopping centers like the Annandale Shopping Center and near Kmart and waiting to clear the roads.
