A large fence now surrounds the property where the statue is located. There is also a plaque which reads:

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of battle; be our safeguard against the wiles and wickedness of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O prince of heavenly host, by the power of God cast nto hell Satan and al the other evil spirits, who prowl through the word, seeking the ruin of souls.

Kim originally told Patch that she did not know who took the statue or why. She purchased the statue from St. Michael's Catholic Church during an auction,

The statue is located across the street from Kim's practice, in the 4300 block of Evergreen Lane.
