Residents and local politicians ring in the holiday season
A group of Annandale residents, members of the and more gathered at Toll House Park on Friday evening for the annual holiday tree lighting event.
Mason District Supervisor Penelope Gross, Braddock District Supervisor John Cook, and Fairfax County Chairman Sharon Bulova also attended and Santa Claus himself even made an appearance.
Carolers from joined the festivities this year and lead the crowd in singing popular songs such as "Deck the Halls", "Let It Snow", and more.

Annandale vocalist Mitra Gholam helped a crowd of children along with the Poe Carolers sing "Jingle Bells" and "I'll Be Home for Christmas".
