Why Go:  The Braddock Nights Concert Series presents Korean Cultural Heritage Night.  The evening’s events will feature traditional and folk music and dance, with a Korean movie beginning at dark.

Sully Civil War Weekend

Where/When:  Sully Historic Site, 3650 Historic Sully Way, Chantilly 

Saturday, August 13th 10-5; Sunday, August 14th 10-3

Why Go:  Spend some time with the Union and Confederate Armies as re-enactors demonstrate the work of daily army life. Infantry, cavalry, and artillery skirmishes will be acted out each day. There will also be live music and a fashion show. Tours of the 19th century Haight family house will include artifacts that are rarely on exhibit.

Braddock Nights Concert Series at Lake Accotink Park and Royal Lake Park 

Where/When:  Lake Accotink Park, 7500 Accotink Park Rd, Springfield AND Royal Lake Park, 5344 Gainsborough Dr, Fairfax

Both concerts are on Friday, August 12th at 7:30 pm

Why Go:  An evening of jazz awaits, regardless of your choice of venue.  Lake Accotink Park will feature The Commodores of The United States Navy Band.   At Royal Lake Park, you’ll enjoy the sounds of The Capital Focus Jazz Band.

Arts in the Parks: "The Great Zucchini"
