Evolution of Art: SIMPLICITY! Photographs by John Connell

Connell's exhibit, SIMPLICITY! is a must see! The images are technically exquisite and creatively captivating! Connell says he enjoys photographing birds, seascapes and landscapes and his grandchildren. While it might be true, it doesn't begin to express the depth, beauty, and stunning nature of Connell's work!

Come to the Artist Reception: Sunday, July 15th from 1:00-3:00pm. 

John Connell is retired from the Navy and the Department of Defense. He learned about photography from his mentor, Leon Whittwer, and from both membership in the Vienna Photography Society and extensive self-study.  
Connell served as a Board member of the Vienna Photographic Society and was President for two years.  He has been successful in monthly VPS competitions and the Meadowlark Photography Exhibition and has sold work at local art and craft fairs.  Over the past five years Connell has been invited to judge local photography competitions in Northern Virginia and Maryland.

This show will be hanging at Beanetics Coffee Roasters from June 18 through July 31. If you are unable to join us on July 15th, please do stop by sometime during the run of the exhibit and check it out. You will be so glad you did! And leave us a message on the comment cards!
