11 a.m. -- Kristina Furey
Come out and enjoy the dynamic vocals of Kristina Furey and the guitar lines of Dan Furey as they perform great covers and originals to match. Her vocals and style are most often compared to Sheryl Crow's. Dan Furey's acoustic guitar, combined with live looping and digital delays, allows for everything from ballads to rock, complete with percussion, rhythm, and lead lines.

12:15 p.m. -- Eric Peters straight from Nashville!
Peters is a former member of the now defunct acoustic duet, Ridgely, a national touring act widely regarded for its tight folk-pop harmonies and interweaving melodies. Originally hailing from south Louisiana, Peters' ability to create unique character sketches is likely birthed out of his consistent touring schedule, meeting scores of people on the road and an active imagination.

1:15 p.m. -- Joe Rathbone and Band
Rathbone's sound's been compared to Elvis Costello, Tom Petty and many other truly emotional story tellers. Enjoy driving guitar riffs and acoustic dynamics reminiscent of true indie pop.

2:15 p.m. -- Bill Mallonee
Paste Music Magazine, listed Bill Mallonee as 65 in their "100 Greatest Living Songwriters Poll." Mallonee, the lyrical and musical source behind the late Vigilantes of Love, started playing music in Athens in the late 80's. Whether writing Americana or spacier stuff, Mallonee seems equally at home with both.

Other attractions featured at the festival include a moonbounce, crafts, pony rides, hay rides, and other live entertainment. There will be plenty of rides for children as well as demonstrations from both the police and fire departments.

Admission to the festival is free, but attendees can purchase tickets for individual rides. For more information about the festival, call 703-941-1730.
