Preview: Entertainment at the Annandale Fall Festival 2012

Here's a look at what you and your family can expect at this year's festival and parade.

There are more than 10 acts scheduled to perform at this year's Annandale Fall Festival. Some are familiar faces, but others will be new to the Annandale crowd. Here's a look at the full schedule with some details about each performer.

Entertainment Schedule

10 a.m. - Reunion Music Jazz Orchestra

The Reunion Music Jazz Orchestra (RMSJO) is part of the Reunion Music Society ensembles. The RMSJO is led by music director Herb Smith and the group performs a variety of jazz pieces from the 1930s to 1950s. According to their website, the “RMSJO performs as a trio, quartet, quintet, a seventeen-piece ensemble, or a big band with strings.”

11 a.m. - Camille Thornton

Fifteen-year-old singer/songwriter Camille Thornton will perform some of her original songs at the main stage. Thornton, who hails from Great Falls, sings a mix of country/pop songs.

11:40 a.m.- Fraternidad Cultural Pachama Dancers

The Fraternidad Cultural Pachama, a Bolivian dance group, return to the Annandale festival with their high-energy dance routines and colorful outfits.

12 p.m.- Melanie Reuter, FCHS Broadway Hits

Falls Church High School Senior Melanie Reuter, who recently starred in FCHS production No Crime Like the Present as Cassandra Dumont, will perform a medley of modern pop songs and Broadway hits. Reuter previously acted in Working, The Diviners, Booby Trap and other shows.

12:45 p.m. - Fairfax Choral Society Children’s Chorus

Part of the Fairfax Choral Society, the Children's Choirs are composed of young musicians. The choirs range from ages 5 to 18, with the youth choirs composed of five groups. To learn more about the choruses, visit the Choral Society website.

1:45 p.m. - Logan Kraft Band

Returning for another year, the Logan Kraft Band will take the stage at 1:45 p.m. Consisting of Logan Kraft, lead singer and guitarist, John Hazelwood on vocals and keyboard, Robbie Mellinger on guitar, and James Rieder on drums, the Northern Virginia group will play a host of blues and folk music at the festival. 2:30 p.m. - Hapmudo Martial Arts Studio

The students of Annandale Hapmudo Martial Arts Studio are returning to this year’s festival. If you miss the group at the parade on Saturday morning, be sure to catch their demonstration at 2:30 p.m.

3 p.m. - Headliner Tory Bailey

Country singer Tory Bailey has the honor of headlining this year’s festival. Bailey, who’s been in the industry for the last 20 years, has opened and performed with some big names such as Waylon Jennings, Vince Gill, Dwight Yoakam, and Sara Evans, according to his website. 4 p.m. - Diva Mara

Richmond native Diva Mara will sing a variety of jazz and pop songs to close out the Annandale Festival performances.

In addition to the above acts, there will be three dance performances in the Exhibition Area near Bank of America at the following times: 

12:30 p.m. Morenada Revelacion Cocanis USA

1:30 p.m.  Fraternidad Cultural Los Quechuas

2:30 p.m.  Autentica Diabladz Arbieto
