Annandale Boys and Girls Club Relocating to Annandale Road Building

The popular youth sports club will leave its location on Columbia Pike next month.

The vacant building at 4216 Annandale Rd will soon be occupied by a familiar organization. The is moving from its location on Columbia Pike to Annandale Road next month.

Managing Director Greg Germain said he hopes to move in on March 1 barring any construction delays. The outside of the Annandale Road building has already been painted in the club’s colors red and white. There is also a sign out front with the ABGC name.

Germain said he’s excited to move to the new place. He’s even considering starting a bowling league due to the new location’s proximity to the bowling alley.

For now, the club isn’t making too many additional changes. They will retain their current phone number, but also plan to add a second phone line. The supplementary number will be 703-941-ABGC (2242).

Originally established in 1959 by Everett G Germain Jr., the Annandale Boys & Girls Club provides a wide range of sports opportunities for youth in the Annandale area. The second-generation family-run club has leagues for most sports including football, baseball, soccer, basketball, cheerleading and more.

The club will also host the Annandale Premiere Cup boys soccer tournament next month on March 9-11.
