Coming Soon: Cigar and Tobacco Shop to Open in September

A new cigar and tobacco shop is scheduled to open in the Pinecrest Shopping Center just outside of Annandale.

Capital Cigar and Tobacco will be located at 6544-B Little River Turnpike, beside Flippin’ Pizza.

According to manager Ramsey Adam, the store will carry a variety of tobacco products including cigarettes, shisha tobacco, pipes and more.

Like several area businesses, Adam said the store’s construction process was delayed while they waited for permits to be approved.

Since beginning construction in July, Adam said he has already received feedback from potential customers who’ve approached him with suggestions for cigars and other items to stock in the store.

Although Adam, who lives in the area, is aware that there are other cigar shops nearby such as in Annandale, he’s confident that what will set Capital Cigar and Tobacco apart is their selection.

The store may occasionally offer samples, but Adam said once they’re past the construction phase and the products are in, they’ll make further decisions about the frequency of such events.

Capital Cigar and Tobacco is planning to host its grand opening on Friday, Sept. 7.
