Fairfax County Parks Announce Black Friday Sales

The big box stores won’t be the only shops offering Black Friday deals this week.

According to a press release from the Fairfax County Park Authority, Green Spring Gardens Park and other Fairfax County parks will offer special sales on Friday, Nov. 23.

Green Spring will offer shoppers 20 percent off select merchandise from Noon until 4:30 p.m. on Black Friday. Items for sale at Green Spring are ideal for the gardener in your family or nature enthusiast.

Other Park Authority sites a bit further away from the Annandale area will offer deals. Frying Pan Farm Park Country Store in Herndon will also offer 20 percent off select merchandise from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Shoppers can take 20 percent off all gift shop items from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Sully Historic Site in Chantilly.

The park sites will also have deals for golf lovers. The Burke Lake Golf Course in Fairfax Station is offering 25 percent off all pro shop merchandise and a free cup of coffee on Friday.

Over in Falls Church, the Jefferson Golf Course is also offering 25 percent off on all sports apparel at and free coffee as well. The release also states that the Laurel Hill Golf Club Pro Shop in Lorton is offering 20 percent savings on sports apparel and footwear while all merchandise at the Twin Lakes Golf Course Pro Shop in Clifton is 20 percent off (excluding sale items).

All golf courses are open sunrise to sunset.
