Fuddruckers will close on Sunday, April 29, according to Toni Niece, vice presdent of marketing for Fuddruckers.
Although the company is still actively seeking a new location in the Annandale area, they have yet to find a vacancy to accommodate them.
"We would love to relocate. We're working diligently to find another site. We just haven't been able to. We love Annandale. We don't want to leave, but unfortunately, we have no choice," .

The Annandale Fuddruckers opened in 1985.
A Walgreens replace the restaurant. The proposed plan for the new Walgreens property include efforts to improve traffic flow both at and around the site.

The current Fuddruckers building is 8,000 square feet. It will be demolished and replaced by a 12,000 square feet building for Walgreens. There will be a drive-thru component and 50 parking spaces.
