New Vietnamese Noodle Restaurant Opens Saturday

Pho Hai Duong, located in Seoul Plaza, will serve authentic Vietnamese noodle soup.

Pho fans in Annandale have more good news to celebrate. Another Vietnamese restaurant, , will have its grand opening this Saturday.

Pho Hai Duong, a Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup Restaurant, is located at 4231-M Markham Street in Seoul Plaza across the street from the Parliaments apartments.

According to owner Ngoc Hai Le, the restaurant will serve authentic Vietnamese noodle soup and seat close to 70 people. In addition to dine-in cuisine, the restaurant also offers take-out.

Pho Hai Duong is family-owned and operated by Le's mother, A Tran, and will be managed on a daily basis by Le and her husband Oanh Nguyen. The family also owns four other restaurants in the Northern Virginia area including Hai Duong Restaurant in the Eden Center in Falls Church, which has been open for the last 14 years, and restaurants in Centreville. The name of the restaurant is a combination of Le's name, Hai, and her brother's name.

From Saturday through Friday, May 25, the restaurant will also offer a dine-in-only, grand-opening special of $4.99 for a small bowl or $5.99 for a large bowl of their signature beef noodle soup.

Pho Hai Duong will be open Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. A minimum $15 purchase is required in order to use a credit card.
