Remodeled Annandale Hess Gas Station Could Reopen Next Week

The station is close to finishing construction on renovations almost a month ahead of schedule.

Good news: the Annandale Hess gas station located at 7100 Little River Tpke., which is currently undergoing renovations, could reopen to the public as soon as next week.

The company hopes to be finished with construction by June 21, said a Hess spokesperson to Patch. The spokesperson also stressed that the completion date is tentative.

That puts the project completion almost a month ahead of schedule. Back in March, the company said they were aiming for a mid-July open date.

The gas station closed on March 18 to complete renovations, which included adding a convenience store and a canopy, something the previous station did not have.  Hess has operated in Annandale since 1972.

The company is also planning a tentative grand reopening for June 26.

Despite rumors of a Blimpie shop opening along with a new Dunkin' Donuts in the convenience store, the spokesperson confirmed Dunkin' will be the only addition to the station's shop. However, the convenience store will sell sandwiches and a variety of food and drink items.
