Erica Beautiful Hair Salon Opening in October

A new hair salon is scheduled to open in October following construction at its location on Annandale Road.

The salon, called Erica Beautiful after owner Erica Chon, will be a full service salon. According to Chon, the salon will have five professional full-time hair dressers in addition to the beauty services the store will offer. Residents will be able to stop in for manicures, pedicures, waxes and massages for low to average prices.

"I think [residents will enjoy] the great quality and service," said Chon.

This will be the first hair salon for Chon and the first Erica Beautiful location.

Pending no construction delays, Chon has it on good authority that the salon will open next month since her husband is the contractor.

Although the salon doesn't have a Web site right now, Chon said one will be coming soon.

For their grand opening, Chon said the salon will offer free specials, such as a free color or trim with the purchase of a perm service. The salon will also have specials to help customers celebrate their birthdays, including a $100 raffle gift certificate giveaway.

The salon will be the second hair-related store opening in Annandale on Annandale Road. Next door, the Annie Beauty School opened earlier in August. Annie Beauty is currently offering $5.99 hair cuts to customers.

Erica Beautiful, located at 4220-B Annandale Road, will be open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
