Fairfax County Park Authority to Host Camp Open Hire Sessions

Fairfax County Park Authority needs camp counselors for summer 2013. Here is how to apply.

Looking for a summer job? The Fairfax County Park Authority will be hosting four open calls for Rec-PAC camp employment.

The Rec-PAC program will operate camps at 50 elementary school locations around the county on weekdays from July 1 through Aug. 9. During the summer, staff will work at a site daily from 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. or 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The open hire sessions will be held on the first floor of the Herrity Building located at 12055 Government Center Parkway in Fairfax from noon - 4 p.m. on March 20, May 15 and May 29.

One special open hire session will be held at Mt. Eagle Elementary School in Alexandria from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. April 17.

Applicants must be at least age 18 and bring an original social security card and a DMV photo I.D.
