- Goodbye August and hello September! Five more days until school is back in session for Fairfax County Public Schools.
- Today is the PR Kick off Relay at Bull Run Park and the and Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology cross country teams are both participating.
- The Thomas Jefferson Colonials also have their first home varsity game of the season tonight at 7 p.m. We'll have photos from the game and the Back to School Bash on Friday. They're also unveiling their at the Bash.
- It will be mostly sunny today with a high temperature of 84 degrees.
- This weekend is Labor Day weekend. Did you know the first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 1882 in New York City?
