Beginning at 9:30 p.m. Friday night, July 15, Exit 52A, I-495 north to Little River Turnpike west (Route 236) will be closed until 5 a.m. Monday morning, July 18, for ramp build-up according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). A detour will be place all weekend.
Detour Route: Continue on I-495 north to Exit 51, Gallows Road (Route 650), turn left over the Beltway and follow signs onto I-495 south to Exit 52A, Little River Turnpike west.
I-495 north (Inner Loop) motorists may encounter delays during peak hours approaching the Little River Turnpike interchange. This work is part of the Capital Beltway High Occupancy Toll (HOT) Lanes Project.
