Happy Sunday, Annandale! Here's the week in review.

The 2 has slowed and the population is getting older. We'll have a story this week on the site with the numbers for Annandale.

The Franconia District police station of the Fairfax County Police Department shared a list of gangs in the Franconia area at the Citizen Advisory Committee meeting on Wednesday. It was a big week for Annandale sports. Ahmed Bile finished in first place in the 1600-meter and the Atoms placed third at the Patriot District meet. In basketball, the Atoms to advance to the semifinals against Lake Braddock. They on Friday. The Atoms still advance to the Northern Region tournament and host Westfield on Monday. The Thomas Jefferson Colonials of the Liberty District tournament. Coaches also selected several Annandale and Thomas Jefferson players for the and awards.
