What's On Your Hurricane Irene Playlist?

Don't let the threat of a hurricane stop you from rocking out

With Hurricane Irene headed our way and scheduled to bring lots of rain and wind our way this weekend, we want to make sure we keep our readers in good spirits. What better way to do that (outside of our extensive coverage) than by making a playlist.

We asked for your suggestions for your Hurricane Irene playlist and you answered. Thanks to @TheBeltTeam and @TBturtles for their suggestions via Twitter. Click the song title to listen to the songs on YouTube.

Windy, by the Association
I've been thinking about Warren Zevon and "The Wind" -- nothing weather related on that album, so I'll suggest his "Hasten Down the Wind" instead.

Ginger was found! It took a humane trap to do it, but she is now safe & sound at home in FallsRead More Church. It was, in fact, thanks to this very notice that she was found!

YES, she's back home and definitely back to normal (she was all goofy after her bath yesterday,Read More running all around) due to the complete awesomeness that is AWOL Dogs and specifically the above-commenting Nancy Despeaux! Thanks again to you, Donna and Nadine!!!
