Delegate Candidates' Forum Set for Wednesday
Come hear candidates running to represent the 53rd, 38th and 39th Districts in the Virginia House of Delegates.

The Annandale chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) will host a forum for the candidates vying to represent the 53rd, 38th and 39th Districts in the Virginia House of Delegates.
It will take place Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Mason District Government Center, 6507 Columbia Pike, in Annandale.
The following candidates have confirmed their appearance: 53rd District candidates:
- Marcus Simon, Democrat
- Anthony Tellez, Libertarian
- Brad Tidwell, Republican
The 53rd District encompasses the City of Falls Church, Merrifield and portions of Providence, Mason and McLean districts.
Simon is the former aide of longtime Del. Jim Scott who held the seat for 22 years.
Also attending, from the 38th: (Kaye Kory and James Leslie), and 39th: (Vivian Watts).
The general election is Nov. 5.
