Mason District Candidate Meet and Greet Set for Thursday

Candidates running for offices in Fairfax County and the Virginia House of Delegates will answers questions from Annandale-area residents.

Candidates running for Virginia offices in the House of Delegates and for Fairfax County Sheriff will discuss their platforms and meet with residents at a meet and greet at Annandale United Methodist Church Thursday.

Sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the Fairfax Area (LWVFA) and the Mason District Council of Community Associations (MDCCA), the event starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Annandale United Methodist Church is located at 6935 Columbia Pike.

Confirmed candidates for the meet and greet are: Fairfax County Sheriff Candidates Stacey Ann Kincaid (D), Bryan A. "B.A." Wolfe (R), and independents Christopher DeCarlo and Robert A. Rivera, Del. Kaye Kory (D-38th) and independent challenger James Leslie, Del. Vivian Watts (D-39th), Del. Alfonso Lopez (D-49th) and independent challenger Terrence Modglin and 53rd district candidates Marcus Simon (D) and W. Brad Tidwell (R).

Earlier this month, the LWVFA hosted a meet and greet for the Braddock District, which includes part of Annandale, in Burke.
