Basic Computer & Network Troubleshooting


Do you think your computer performance is too slow and you are wondering if you can do anything about it?  Do you find that you get screen freezes or “fatal exception error” more than you would like?  If so, this class which will teach you troubleshooting techniques for your computer and networking system as well as some preventive maintenance skills so that your computer will continue to give you the best performance possible.

  • Dealing with issues related to computer accessories – monitor, mouse, sound

Instructor:  Jim Clager has been a CORE volunteer since 1999 and is responsible for all CORE IT systems.  He also designed and implemented CORE’s satellite classroom facilities located in Falls Church, Fairfax and Herndon.  Professionally, Jim performs software applications management for the multi-billion dollar project called Navy-Marine Corps Intranet at Quantico’s Marine Corps Systems Command.
