Host Family Info Session with gphomestay

Are you interested in meeting people from other countries? Do you want to make a lasting impact on the life of an international student and make a friend for life? Do you have a spare bedroom and live in the Arlington, VA area? You may want to consider hosting an international student with gphomestay!

Through our partnership with Bishop O’Connell High School, we are offering an incredible opportunity to nurturing, qualified families in the surrounding area.

Join us on Monday, March 24 at 1 p.m. at the Arlington Public Library (Central Library, Second Floor Meeting Room, 1015 N Quincy Street, Arlington) for a relaxed informational session on becoming a host family.  Contact Allyson Cartter at acartter@thecambridgeinstitute.org or 781-996-0444 with any questions. We hope to see you there!

Host families will receive a monthly stipend of $700 and have access to ongoing support from local Residential Coordinators who can help with coordinating meeting your student upon arrival, keeping you connected with the school community, and mediating issues if they arise.

Students come with their own insurance and spending money and stay for the academic year. There are also short-term hosting opportunities available.
