Annandale Resident Needs Help Raising Money for Volunteer Trip to Uganda
Annandale resident Juliana Jurenas is volunteering with International Volunteer HQ to spend three weeks in Uganda teaching music to kids.
An Annandale resident is raising money to go on a mission trip to Uganda and volunteer in an orphanage for three weeks.
Juliana Jurenas is volunteering with International Volunteer HQ to work in an orphanage in Uganda starting in July 2014. As a volunteer, she will focus on "sharing and teaching music and dance with the kids," according to her GoFundMe page. Her goal is to reach $3,000.
GoFundMe is an online fundraising tool similar to Kickstarter, but fundraising efforts are usually for personal causes, volunteer programs, medical expenses, education costs, youth groups and more.
