The D.C. Diaper Bank works to strengthen families by providing a reliable and adequate supply of free diapers to families in need living in the D.C. metropolitan area. Diapers are not covered by subsidies and families who can't afford diapers for their children often leave them in the same diaper all day or re-use diapers. Not only does this lead to health problems for the babies, the babies' constant crying due to wearing a soiled diaper all day increases the risk of child abuse.

Those who donate diapers will receive wristbands for drink specials. Donations of unopened, unexpired formula, baby wipes, and diaper cream are also appreciated.
