62-Year-Old Woman Robbed on Little River Turnpike
The woman was not seriously injured, according to police.
A 62-year-old woman was robbed near Annandale on Monday.
Fairfax County police responded to a report of a robbery in the 6200 block of Little River Turnpike around 2 p.m. The woman was standing in front of a business when a man reportedly approached from behind. He slapped her, took her purse and fled.
The woman was not seriously injured, according to police.
The suspect was described as an unknown race, male, in his 20s. He was wearing all black clothing and a black covering over his face.
