Annandale Man Charged with Molesting Children at Annandale Day Care
Elwood Lewis "Louie" Thomas, 28, was arrested following reports that he inappropriately touched chlidren at Happy Land Daycare.
An Annandale man has been charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery after reports that he inappropritely touched a girl at Happy Land Daycare.
According to a news release from the Fairfax County Police Department, Elwood Lewis “Louie” Thomas, 28, lived on the premises of the home daycare facility located on Holyoke Drive in Annandale. A 14-year-old girl reported Thomas inappropriately touched her on numerous occasions when she attended the daycare between the ages of 11 and 12, the release said.
Police have received additional reports from children alleging inappropriate sexual touching by Thomas while they attended Happy Land Daycare, which is now closed.

Thomas was arrested on June 7. The Washington Post reports Thomas has been released on bond.
