Annandale Man Robbed at Gunpoint on Commons Drive

Toddler uninjured as police now search for two suspects in connection with the incident.

A man was robbed at gunpoint in Annandale last Friday near Commons Drive.

According to a news release from the Fairfax County Police Department, the man was removing his toddler from his vehicle around 11:30 p.m. Friday in the parking lot in the 4500 block of Commons Drive when two men approached him.

The suspects produced a weapon and demanded that the man hand over his money. The suspects later fled. The man and his toddler was not injured, police said.

The two suspects are believed to be male, black and between 18 and 25 years old. One suspect was described as tall, clean shaven, muscular build and wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. The other suspect was described as light-skinned, with a short goatee and wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.
