Annandale Woman Robbed on Carmelo Drive
Fairfax County police have identified a suspect and charges are currently pending.
A 50-year-old woman was reportedly robbed in Annandale on Sept. 6 while walking around the 4300 block of Carmelo Drive.
The woman was walking on the sidewalk when a man surprised her from behind, according to Fairfax County police. The man demanded money from the woman and fled the scene after the woman gave him cash. The woman was not injured.
Police later identified the man "as an acquaintance of other family members," according to the crime report. The man has not yet been charged.
