Crime Report: Cash Stolen from Annandale Business

Mason District Station
Burglary
An employee reported cash stolen from an Annandale business.
The incident took place at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 4200 block of John Marr Drive, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. Someone had forced their way into the business through a door.
Larcenies:

  • 3000 block of Annandale Road: carton of cigarettes reported stolen from business
  • 2900 block of Patrick Henry Drive: jewelry reported stolen from residence

Franconia District Station
Burglary
Someone forced their way into two businesses and stole cash, according to police. The incident was reported at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 4500 block of John Marr Drive in Annandale.
Larcenies:

  • 6100 block of Declaration Square: GPS and cash reported stolen from vehicle
  • 5700 block of Independence Circle: beer reported stolen from business
  • 6400 block of Springfield Mall sunglasses reported stolen from business
  • 6500 block of Yadkin Court: cell phone reported stolen from school

West Springfield District Station
Burglary
A resident reported jewelry stolen from their Annandale home.
The incident took place at 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday on the 4700 block of Commons Drive. Police said the burglar entered the home through an unlocked door.
