Crime Report: Man, 55, Accused of Exposing Himself at Annandale Shopping Center


The latest incidents reported to the West Springfield, Franconia, and Mason District Stations of the Fairfax County Police Department. These stations include portions of Annandale.

Franconia District Station
 
Indecent exposure
A 55-year-old man is accused of exposing himself at the Bradlick Shopping Center in Annandale, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
 
William Tolley, of no fixed address, was charged with indecent exposure.  The incident took place at 11:10 a.m. on July 22 at the mall on the  6900 block of Bradlick Shopping Center.
 
Sex offence
A 27-year-old woman was walking with a stroller when a man approached and inappropriately touched her, according to police. The incident took place at 7:25 p.m. on July 16 on the intersection of Cherwek Drive and Sebrell Street in Lorton.
 
Unlawful entry
Someone forced their way into a Lorton home, police said. The incident took place at 1:40 p.m. on July 22 on the 6700 block of Bulkley Road in Lorton.
 
Burglary
A gaming system was reported stolen from a home at 5:50 p.m. on July 24 on the 7400 block of Ardglass Drive in Lorton, according to police.

West Springfield District Station
 
Burglary
Jewelry was reported stolen from an Annandale home, according to police. The incident took place at 1:50 p.m. on July 19 on the 7900 block of Charles Thompson Lane in Annandale.
 
Burglary
Someone forced their way into a home and stole jewelry, according to police. The home was broken into at 8:30 p.m. on July 21 on the 6200 block of Rathlin Drive in Springfield.
 
Unlawful Entry
Two men were charged with unlawfully entering a school. Police responded to an alarm that went off at the school at 3 a.m. on July 21 on the 9500 block of Main Street in Fairfax.
 
Police found two men exiting the building. Alexander Chou, 20, of Annandale, and Dong Kim, 21, of Fairfax, were each charged with unlawful entry.

Mason District Station
 
Unlawful entry
Someone entered a vacant apartment through an unlocked window, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. The incident took place at 6:15 p.m. on July 18 on the 4700 block of Southland Avenue in the Lincolnia area.
 
Burglary
An employee told police someone entered a business at about 7 a.m. on July 19 on the 7400 block of Camp Alger Avenue in Falls Church. It was not clear whether anything was stolen.
 
Larceny
A 26-year-old man was arrested after police said he tried to break into a car. The incident was reported at 1:50 a.m. on July 20 on the 6200 block of Cheryl Drive in Falls Church. Police said a resident reported that two people had tried to enter his car.
 
Francisco Perez, of Falls Church, was charged with vehicle tampering, drunk in public, possession of fictitious identification and possession of burglarious tools.
 
Indecent exposure
A 31-year-old man was accused of exposing himself in a park. According to police, the incident took place at 10:15 a.m. on July 20 on the 6000 block of Munson Hill Road in the Bailey’s Crossroads area. Shahid Bashir, of Falls Church, was charged with simulated masturbation.
