Crime Report: Two Women Report Indecent Exposure

The following incidents took place over the last few days in the Mason, Franconia, and West Springfield District Stations.

Mason District Station

Two women reported seing a man exposing himself in a car at 3 p.m. on Friday on the intersection of Donnybrook Court and Heritage Drive, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. The man was not located.

Jewelry was reported stolen from a home at 7:05 a.m. on Friday from the 3300 block of Ardley Court, according to Fairfax County police. There were no signs of forced entry.

Two residents reported that someone entered each of their homes and stole jewelry, according to police. The burglar made their way into the home at 12:20 p.m. Friday on the 1100 block of South Harrison Street through a window.

Larcenies:

  • 6400 block of Arlington Boulevard, bicycle from business
  • 6500 block of Columbia Pike, jewelry from residence
  • 3800 block of South George Mason Drive, wine from business

Franconia District Station

Burglary

A 37-year-old Springfield man was charged with wearing a mask, two counts of burglary, and two counts of larceny.

According to the Fairfax County Police Department, officers responded to a burglary alarm at 4:20 a.m. on Sunday on the 7000 block of Spring Garden Drive in the Springfield area.

Police said that Pedro Santiago, 37, of Springfield, was found crawling between two businesses.

Larcenies:

  • 6900 block of Bradlick Shopping Center: Wallet and keys reported stolen from business
  • 6800 block of Commerce Street: a wedding band was reported stolen from a business
  • 5500 block of Malone Ridge Street: Tires were reported stolen from a vehicle
  • 6000 block of Stoddard Court: Registration and insurance information were reported stolen from a vehicle
  • 9100 block of Stonegarden Drive: Two pairs of shoes were reported stolen from a residence

West Springfield District Station 

Burglary

A newspaper delivery man reported to police that the front door of a business was shattered. Several cigars were found to be stolen from the business. The incident took place at 3:35 a.m. on Sunday on the 9500 block of Braddock Road.

Larcencies:

6300 block of Fenestra Court: Purse was reported stolen from residence
